By using our rental services, you agree to the following Terms of Service, which govern the rental and use of our equipment. Please read these terms carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities as a lessee.
1. Waiver Requirement
Each individual using Surf Side Beach Market Bike & Beach Rentals equipment must sign a waiver before delivery. If the waiver is not signed, the order will be canceled, and no refund will be provided.
2. Rental Agreement and Liability
By renting equipment from Surf Side Beach Market Bike & Beach Rentals LLC., you, the lessee, agree to release Surf Side Beach Market Bike & Beach Rentals LLC., and its employees, from any liability, causes of action, or claims arising from the use, proper or improper, of the rented equipment. You accept all responsibility for the safe operation and proper care of the equipment.
3. Payment, Damage, and Return Conditions
- Charges: The lessee agrees to pay all charges in full, including any fees related to damages or late returns. Payment for the initial rental cost will be processed upon order confirmation online or by phone.
- Equipment Condition: All equipment must be returned in the same condition it was received, except for normal wear and tear. The lessee is solely responsible for any misplaced, lost, unsecured, misused, or damaged equipment.
- Beach Cruiser Bike Policy: Beach cruiser bikes may be ridden on the beach but must be kept out of saltwater. Bikes ridden in saltwater will incur a minimum damage fee of $50. If repair costs exceed this fee, the actual cost of parts and labor will be charged. Drifters Beach & Bike Rentals reserves the right to determine if a bike has been exposed to saltwater and will apply charges accordingly.
4. Cancellations, Refunds, and Changes
Cancellations: If the rental is canceled or modified 24 hours prior to delivery, no cancellation fees will apply. If delivery has already been made, cancellations will not be refunded.
Order Changes: Changes to orders, including partial cancellations, are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may incur additional charges.
5. Delivery and Pickup Terms
Deliveries will occur at the agreed-upon time. Please notify Surf Side Beach Market Bike & Beach Rentals at (904) 000-0000 for any special requests for delivery or pickup times. While we strive to accommodate reasonable requests, alternative delivery or pickup times cannot be guaranteed.
